Media training
Media training is not only for politicians and organisations in crisis. All people who contact the press on a regular basis or would like to establish such contact can benefit from knowing the unwritten rules that apply when you work professionally with representatives of the media.
Many people feel uncertain about what the press is looking for and forget to focus on how an interview could be used to the benefit of both parties. After a number of inquiries from Danish companies, Pressbox has developed two media training programmes.
Training in direct media contact
The first programme is an intensive course for managers and people who deal with external communication for the company. We use role play with elements from storytelling and actual cases to establish what good press contact is all about – be it over the phone, via television or face to face. The course is based on everyday situations and activities in the company. This gives the course a hands-on focus.
Duration: 2 - 4 hours Number of participants: 1
Training in indirect media contact
The other programme aims at marketing people, small companies or departments in which the employees have a communicative function. We use role play with elements from storytelling and actual cases to establish what good press contact is all about – be it over the phone, via television or face to face. The course is based on everyday situations and activities in the company. This gives the course a hands-on focus.
Duration: 2 - 4 hours Number of participants: 2 - 10
